Winter Drinks from Paula Deen

From her January/February 2009 issue...I found these wonderful recipes.

Cherry Chocolate Coffee Float
3 scoops of chocolate chip ice cream
1/2 cup hot espresso (I will have to use decaf coffee or Folgers half and half coffee)
1 tablespoon cherry-flavored syrup
Garnish: whipped cream, maraschino cherry, shaved chocolate

In a serving glass or mug, place ice cream. Slowly pour hot espresso over ice cream; drizzle with cherry syrup. Garnish with whipped cream, cherry, and shaved chocolate. Fabulous V

Choclate Malt Coffee
1/2 cup chocolate milk, warmed
1/2 cup hot espresso.....(I will use hot coffee)
2 tablespoons malted milk powder
1 teaspoon vanilla-flavored syrup
Garnish: chocolate whipped topping, shaved chocolate

In a serving glass or mug, combine warmed chocolate milk, hot espresso or (coffee per me), malted milk powder, and syrup. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with chocolate whipped topping and shaved chocolate.

Caramel-Cinnamon Late
3/4 cup hot espresso (for me part decaf coffee)
1/2 cup half and half
2 teaspoons caramel-flavored syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon-flavored syrup
Garnish: Whipped cream and cinnamon stick

In a serving glass or mug, combine hot espresso, hal-and-half, carmel syrup, and cinnamon syrup. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon stick.
