Million Dollar Pound Cake

1 pound butter
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup of sweet milk
6 eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter and sugar gradually; add flavorings, add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Sift flour 3 times....{I don't alternate flour and milk, adding small amounts at a time}. THIS IS FROM THE PERSON THAT GAVE ME THE RECIPE.

Bake about one hour and thirty minutes or until toothpick shows it's done, at 325 degrees. If using two loaf pans, cook only an hour or so. Test, of course.
