Tea Time Ice Cream Soda

1 1/2 cups boiling water
6 tea bags
1/4 cup sugar
3 cups apple juice chilled {Simply Apple is the best}
3 cups ginger ale, chilled
Butter pecan, pistachio or ice cream of choice

Pour water over tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar. Cool. In a large pitcher, combine tea and juice. Just before serving, add ginger ale and top with 1 scoop of ice cream. Yield: 8 servings
